Nestled in the heart of Putalisadak, The Mari Cafe was born from a love of Coffee, community, and the quiet ritual of slowing down.
The Mari Cafe started with a single idea: what if the act of drinking Coffee could feel meaningful again? Not rushed. Not instant. But slow, deliberate, and full of care. We set up a small table, two chairs, and a kettle in Putalisadak — and the rest followed naturally.
"Espresso for yourself, Cappuccino for the ones you love."
Today we source our leaves directly from organic gardens in Ilam and Jhapa, work with local farmers who share our values, and brew every cup with the same intention we started with — warmth, honesty, and a little bit of magic.
Every leaf we use is sourced directly from trusted organic farms in eastern Nepal — no middlemen, full traceability.
We partner with local growers, pay fair prices, and invest a portion of every sale back into the farming communities we depend on.
Every brew is made by hand, at the right temperature, with the right steep time. We don't cut corners — ever.
We use compostable packaging, minimise waste, and choose suppliers who share our commitment to the planet.
